Due to the ongoing corona virus pandemic, we have put in place the following measures to safeguard everyone attending Funky Mambo's events (Subject to change as infection levels and government policy/legislation changes). We thank you in advance for your kind cooperation and understanding.
🙏🏾
We will continuously review these safety measures to help safeguard everyone in the community.
We are operating a Test to Enter policy at Funky Mambo Salsa On2sdays for the foreseeable future.
Electronic proof of a recent negative rapid lateral flow test or PCR test taken within the last 24 hours, preferably on the same day of the event, will be required as a condition of entry. This applies to EVERYONE, regardless of your vaccination status.
This involves uploading your negative result to the government web site here. We just need you to bring a copy of the confirmation text message or email and show it at the door (printed or electronic on your phone). If you have the NHS app (not the NHS Covid app) you can also show your testing record there.
DO NOT BRING YOUR ACTUAL TEST STRIPS TO THE VENUE.
You can order free tests to be delivered free to your home address here. There are 7 tests in a pack. If you cannot order online, call 119. Lines are open 7am to 11pm and calls are free. You can also collect directly from pharmacies, libraries etc. If you enter your post code at this link it will direct you to collection centres near you.
If you have never taken a lateral flow test before it is very simple and takes just 30 minutes to process your result. Your kit will come with full instructions but you can see a useful video here.
IF YOU HAVE NO PROOF OF A NEGATIVE TEST YOU WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY - APOLOGIES BUT NO EXCEPTIONS.
If you have further questions you can get more information here or please contact us.
Please note lateral flow tests are not 100% accurate. It is impossible to completely eliminate risk but everyone taking a test will help to mitigate against some of those transmission risks.
If you are unwell with any Covid like symptoms, please stay at home and do not attend our events even if your test result is negative.
We will require you to wash and/or sanitise your hands on arrival.
We strongly advise you to continue to wash/ sanitise your hands throughout the event.
We may ask contact details for attendees.
If an outbreak is identified we may need to pass details onto NHS Track and Trace. Please inform us if you attend any of our events and you later test positive even if it is unclear where you picked up your infection.
Wearing a face mask/covering is recommended (optional).
We may take your body temperature at your arrival (optional).
